What is Low vision?
Low vision is a condition in which refractive errors cannot be corrected by wearing eye-glasses, medicines and surgery. While low vision can't be cured, there's plenty of support available to help you carry on living a full life.
Approximately 14 million Americans--about one out of every 20 people--have low vision. About 135 million people around the world have low vision.
According to the National Association of the Blind, an approximate number of 45 million children and adults with low vision are neglected in India and most of them are not aware about low vision devices available in medical markets.
